That Remote Collaboration Episode
THAT MARKETING PODCAST •
Xenia Muntean, founder and CEO of Planable, discusses how working from home has impacted the way marketing teams create content.
Whether it’s the rest of your team making edits or a client signing off on a piece of work, collaborating on content can be a tricky balance between different priorities. Working from home has placed extra focus on this part of marketing, as Xenia explains:
How being remote has had an impact:
“Approval systems have definitely changed, but not in the direction of loosening or tightening them. They have changed in becoming more clear.”
Why your process can’t be a one-way street:
“The responsibility on time-to-launch shouldn’t fall just on the creators, but it should fall on approvers as well. So everyone needs to be aligned.”
The surprising positive result that has come from lockdown:
“The most unexpected benefit that I’ve seen was the engagement levels. A meeting is a huge commitment; having people engaging on and giving feedback around content or engaging around someone’s work in a virtual environment where they don’t have to attend a meeting, is much easier.. ”
