“So what we need to do is look at what’s already working, and then say ‘How can I use humour, to make people focus on that more, make it more effective, make it more impactful?'”

  • What using comedy does for your audience:

“What jokes do is they show an audience that this brand, or this business, or even this comedian, get it, they understand me, they understand my world.”

  • Where brands most often come unstuck:

“Where brands come unstuck is poor choices, over topics, angles. And they forget that humour for a brand is still a piece of marketing, and it still needs to fulfil all of those other criteria.”
